myTools (“the app”) is a utility app for PDF editing, QR codes, password generation, and related tools, published by myblueboard. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use it.
myTools has no user accounts, no advertising, no analytics, and no tracking. We do not operate a server that receives your files or personal data. Any data the app stores is saved either locally on your device or in your own private iCloud account — we cannot see, access, or collect it.
We do not collect, receive, or have access to:
If you’re signed into iCloud on your device, myTools uses Apple’s CloudKit framework to sync your preferences and recent-activity history across your own devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud database, associated with your Apple ID, and is never visible to us or any third party. If you’re not signed into iCloud, the app works the same way, simply without cross-device sync.
The app offers an optional app-lock feature using Face ID or Touch ID. This is handled entirely by Apple’s LocalAuthentication framework, directly on your device. Your biometric data never leaves your device and is never accessible to us.
PDFs, images, and other files you choose to open, merge, split, compress, watermark, or convert are processed entirely on your device. They are only saved to locations you explicitly choose (such as the Files app or a folder on your Mac) — myTools does not upload them anywhere.
We do not share, sell, or transmit any data to third parties. The app does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs.
myTools is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information from any user.
